The SHY Aviation Carbon Offset Process

Conscious decision-making at every step

Each private jet charter quotation curated by our private aviation specialists enables a comparison of the carbon emissions of different jet options. This ensures that environmental impact can be factored into decision-making from the outset.

When a particular flight is booked, SHY Aviation offsets 100% of the carbon emissions. Our clients can then opt to offset even more by supporting one of CarbonClick’s thoroughly vetted projects.

Upon completing their booking, clients receive an independent ‘Track and Trace’ receipt showing which project(s) the offsetting funds have been allocated to, as well as a formal CarbonClick Carbon Offset Certificate.

Traceable & Measurable

Our clients can track the carbon offset of their flight and directly trace the positive impact it has made to a diverse portfolio of projects certified by organisations such as Gold Standard and Verified Carbon Standard. The projects we support include those that invest in nature and community-based solutions, CORSIA-eligible carbon offsets, SAF certificates, and Energy Attribute Certificates, including I-RECs. Each project meets the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The utmost credibility in carbon offsetting is crucial. CarbonClick’s 7-Point Impact Check assesses the integrity and effectiveness of every project to the highest possible degree.
